Additional Product Information:
- Two coats of finish are recommended for full protection. Second coat must be applied while the first coat is still damp (if the first coat fully dries the second coat will not be able to penetrate.)
- Do not apply when rain is expected in the next 48 hours.
Application:
- Stir well prior to use.
- Always test the stain on a sample piece of wood to confirm compatibility and desired appearance.
- Apply with brush, paint pad, foam brush or spray. Do not thin. Thinning will result in reduced product performance. Apply an even coat with the grain of the wood and maintain a wet edge. Coat the end grain of all exposed boards.
- Two coats are recommended. Apply second coat while the first coat is still damp. Do not sand between coats.
- Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit and relative humidity of 40%-60%.
- Under Normal conditions treated wood will be fully cured in 48 hours. One gallon will cover approximately 200-400 sq ft. depending on the porosity of the wood.
